Class Description
Hogtie
June 8th 6:30pm - 8:30pm
This rope workshop will be a hand-on class with active participation and rope tying.
First, we will analyze the various parts of a hogtie position and list the various decisions and choices we make. For example, we will look at various types of chest harnesses that can be used along with different approaches for tying the legs together.
After that, we will note several safety tips and tricks when tying a hogtie. In the end we will be separated in different breakout groups depending on skill level.
Prerequisites: None. This class is designed for all levels including new beginners. The ability to tie a “single column tie” is not required but will help you.
Requirements: at least 2 hanks of rope at 20-30+ft in length.
